In August of 2023, as a news director and a radio host for 90.5 FM KCSU, I had the pleasure of interviewing Lev, also known as Ryley Upskirts, a prominent Colorado drag king. We discussed their journey in the drag scene, the challenges and triumphs they’ve faced, and the cultural impact of drag in the local community.
As the podcast host and producer, I take the lead in shaping the podcast's creative direction, overseeing the ideation process, crafting scripts, conducting interviews, and managing the entire spectrum of pre and post-audio production and sound engineering.
As the News Director at KCSU, I took on the role of primary host for live and pre-recorded news broadcast. I led the entire process, from conceptualization and scriptwriting to conducting interviews.
